Pinoy Haircut
by Elaine on June 23rd, 2008
There was this good old barber in a city in the United States. One day a florist went to him for a haircut. After the cut, he wanted to pay the barber but the barber replied, ‘I don’t accept money from you. I’m doing community service.’ The florist was happy and left the barbershop.
my budol-budol experience

Last Sunday, June 15 ‘08 may nagpuntang girl sa church namin mga 11am yun. Nakausap niya yung pastor namin. Nirefer daw siya ni Ptr. John de Asis sa kanila kasi magdedebut yung kapatid niya this coming Sunday(June 22).Taga-Diamond Crest daw sila. Kailangan nila ng magaayos ng program(emcee, ung flow ng program, then ushers). So, inentertain ng pastor namin at the same time pati yung asawa niya. Pumasok sila sa office dahil medyo maingay sa church. Tinawag ako ni Deac. Cherry(asawa nung ptr. nmin), pinakilala ko as leader nung dance group. Siya pala si Jane, ate nung magdedebut. Nag-usap na kami. Nagulat ako dahil sa Sunday na yung event. Kelangan magprepare agad. Mabait yung girl. Mayaman ata. Yun yung description niya. Pero wala naman sa mukha. Haha!
Song Story: “Here I Am To Worship”

If songs are like children to their writers, then 25 year-old Englishman Tim Hughes carried “Here I Am To Worship” to full term, letting the reverent tune take perfect shape over a nine-month period. Back in 1999 while still in college, he first sat down to craft a musical response to his reading of Philippians 2:5, which says, “Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus.” And from the start, he had the humility part mastered.
